Bolton College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Lecturer with industry / subject specialist knowledge to enhance and develop the T Level Specialism in Engineering and Manufacturing.
Ideally, you will have:
- A relevant HNC/D/ Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent) or willingness to undertake one
- Level 2 Maths and English qualifications
- Teaching experience in a relevant curriculum area
- Experience of assessing students at Level 3 in Engineering
Day-to-day you will have responsibility:
- To support the Curriculum Leader by co-ordinating and supervising a small team in the delivery of high quality and inclusive provision within a curriculum area.
- To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
- To support the curriculum management on curriculum and course development.
- To take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
- Develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required.
- To support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates.
- Comply with all College policies and procedures and maintain personal compliance.
